Benzie County Energy Conservation and Efficiency Project

Beulah, MI—The Northwest Michigan Council of Governments (NWMCOG) Energy Conservation and Efficiency project manager and Benzie County invites interested community members and businesses to participate in a public presentation and tour of the Benzie County Energy Efficiency Project, July 19 at 11:00 a.m. in the County Commissioners Meeting Room, Benzie County Building, 448 Court Place, Beulah.

This project is part of NWMCOG's Renewables and Energy Efficiency for Local Governments, a project funded by the Michigan Public Service Commission. This project is helping county governments in northwest lower Michigan implement energy efficiency and renewable energy applications. Each of the 10 counties in the region has received administrative, technical, and financial assistance to overcome existing obstacles and jump-start a long-term energy action plan.
