Spring Energy Forum #2

This Spring Energy Forum is focused on Distributed Combined Heat and Power (CHP) Systems.

CHP technology can be deployed quickly, cost-effectively, and with few geographic limitations. CHP can use a variety of fuels, both fossil- and renewable-based. While the traditional method of separately producing usable heat and power has a typical combined efficiency of 45%, CHP systems can operate at efficiency levels as high as 80%. This forum provides an opportunity to learn about these systems and the role they will play in our new energy economy.

Housing Partnerships Educational Series: Energy Optimization

The Greater Grand Traverse Area Continuum of Care, the Grand Vision Housing Solutions Network, and the Traverse Area Association of Realtors are pleased to offer an affordable housing educational series for landlords, developers, property owners, and realtors.

The June 14 workshop will focus on ways to maximize energy efficiencies and cost saving opportunities for rental units. The event will be held from 8:30-10:30 a.m. at the TAAR offices, located at 852 S Garfield, Traverse City.
