Free Wireless Plans for Traverse City, Broadband Coming To NW Michigan

In internet news this week, Traverse City Light and Power has decided to explore the option of providing free wireless internet to Traverse City.

Free Biomass Workshop (Jan 21)

There will be a free workshop on biomass energy generation Thursday, January 21.

TC L&P Board Votes To Fix Broken Wind Turbine

The wind turbine on M-72, west of Traverse City, has been shutdown the past three months after it was discovered a generator bearing and shaft were broken. On Jan. 12, the Traverse City Light and Power board voted to fix the wind turbine.
