Public Asked to Attend Information Sessions Re: Land Use, Transportation Study

(Grand Traverse County, Michigan) – A Land Use & Transportation Study for the Grand Traverse Region that will plan for the next 50 years of growth, is underway. The Study team is asking every citizen to help shape the region’s future and provide opinions about problem intersections, safer neighborhoods, by-passes, visions of land use and other ideas. Public information sessions about the study process will be held at the Waterfront Conference Center (2061 N US Highway 31 N) in Traverse City on Tuesday, September 11. From 5 p.m.- 8 p.m., the Team, which includes Robert Grow (Founding Chair Emeritus, Envision Utah) and John Fregonese (Southern California Association of Governments – Destination 2030), will conduct a series of 30-minute presentations, including time for questions, that will be repeated every half-hour.
